Climatec worked closely with Mesa Public Schools to implement a comprehensive security solution that addressed both immediate and long-term safety concerns. The project included the installation of over 3,000 security cameras, weapons detection systems at secondary schools, advanced key management systems, and vape sensors in bathrooms, all aimed at improving campus security across 81 campuses. The district also addressed communication issues during lockdowns by installing blue strobes in areas with poor intercom coverage like music rooms, gymnasiums, and outdoor spaces. These technologies, combined with Climatec’s proactive customer service, have created a safer and more secure environment for students, staff, and parents. For over a decade, this continued collaboration ensures that Mesa Public Schools remains responsive to future safety needs, reinforcing their commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the entire school community.

These safety measures have significantly reduced incidents and disciplinary actions. Within just one week of implementing weapons detection technology, the district successfully prevented weapons from entering the campus.
