Project Solution
Climatec completed installation of Building Automation Systems for the new Kaiser Medical Center. This project includes a patient care facility and central plant totaling over 1 million square feet. Climatec engineered, furnished and installed Alerton BACtalk digital controls for control and monitoring of HVAC systems including 18 Air Handlers, 800 Terminal Units, and 84 Fan Coils.
The solution provides critical care controls for 14 Operating Rooms and 24 Isolation Rooms. Control of Central Plant equipment includes 6 Boilers, 3 Chillers and 3 Cooling Towers. The system also provides secondary monitoring of the Fire/Life Safety System associated with initiation of smoke control and purge processes.
