America West Arena — Phoenix, AZ
In this project, Climatec BTG was contracted directly with the America West Arena to replace the existing Building Management and Fire System. The project replaced all the DDC controls Fire/Life Safety Systems throughout the facility. Time was always the most important concern; this project had to be finished during the off season when the facility was not heavily utilized.  This meant that Climatec had to work closely with the construction team and the administrative staff to schedule and complete work under budget and ahead of schedule.

The design work was coordinated with the electrical engineer (Peterson and Associates) and the City of Phoenix (Tracy Bangor, PE). This project consisted of 100% self performed work by our firm. Services provided for the project were as follows:

• Provide all equipment for the fire alarm

• Provide all panel programming and commissioning

• Provide all terminations at control equipment

• Provide all AHJ testing and owner training
